Power back on after almost 3-hour outage

Caney Creek, Moorhead Junior High, Granderland Intermediate, and Milam Elementarty started the day without power, having to run the back-up generator and the emergency lights. The lights came back up a 8 a.m.
The power went out about 5:30 a.m., according to Entergy Texas’s website.
The school will precede with STAAR retesting, which were relocated due to lack of lighting in the gym.
Senior Montserrat Ramos jokingly noted, “Who forgot to pay the bill?”
