Robotics excels in first year

Robotics has completed two tournaments so far this year. At the first one was league competition in Klein ISD and CCHS placed 2nd out of 8 teams as a rookie school in its first tournament ever.

At the second one was an area competition in Channelview ISD, CCHS competed against 28 other teams. Panther Robotics made it to semi-finals with 11 other teams.  Those teams were broken up into 4 alliances (3 teams each).  The CCHS alliance defeated all of the other alliances, placing first.  As a result, CCHS were one of those three teams, that brought home the Winning Alliance Award trophy.

CCHS will have a league competition Jan. 20  at Klein ISD and a regional qualifier competition on Feb. 10.

Regionals will be in Houston.
