RECAPS: 2/6 – 2/10: Senior powerlifters take first at Conroe Invitational

Wrestling
The wrestling teams wrestled their district tournament at Lynn Lucas on Thursday with both teams placing 3rd. The boys had seven wrestlers place in the tournament , while the girls had 10. The placers will advance to the regional tournament on Friday and Saturday.
Boys Basketball
The Boys Basketball team took on The Woodlands on Tuesday in a losing effort, going 48-35. They lost to Oak Ridge on Friday. On Tuesday the boys will play an away district game against New Caney. They will play at Cleveland on Friday.
Girls Basketball
The Girls Basketball team played on Tuesday against The Woodlands losing 52-18. They took on Oak Ridge on Friday, losing 46-34. The girls will compete in their last district game on Tuesday against New Caney.
Boys Soccer
On Saturday the Boys Soccer team took on Willis winning 4-1. They will play again on Tuesday against The Woodlands in a home district game.
Girls Soccer
The Girls Soccer team played at home against Willis on Saturday losing 1-0. They will play again on Tuesday against The Woodlands in an away district game.
Powerlifting
The Powerlifting team competed at the Conroe invitational, finishing with four placers. Seniors Ruby Sanchez, Alinne Flores, and Joshua Henry placed first. Junior Nicole Rodriguez placed second. The boys will compete again at The Woodlands in their district meet next Saturday. The next competition for the girls will be Feb. 16, 2023 for their district meet at Willis.
Bowling
The bowling team took on Conroe on Sunday beating them 27-10. Billy Harrah, Alex Stewart, Natalie Barker, Abby Cross and bowler of the week, Blake Barbee contributed to the win over Conroe.
