Burgess later participates in a racing activity with inflatable mattresses. “I am really competitive,” Burgess said. “I definitely thought we won but the freshman won, I'm still mad about that.”

She just wanted to enjoy the activity seniors have. “ I respected senior privilege pretty much all the other years of high school, and I was waiting so long for it to be like my opportunity to and it was a really fun activity to do, because I really like painting, and I like art, so all that together just really made me want to paint my parking spot”
