If there’s anything that they’re impressed with, it would probably be the range from going from law into education. Taking two different career paths there.

Who is someone you are thankful for and why?
I’m thankful to my wife for putting up with me for 40 years and taking care of me.
What advice would you give to someone pursuing a career similar to yours?
Do what you have passion alright. There’s work involved, and the work is easier to achieve if you have passion to do it, as opposed to something you’re just forced to do.
What do you hope to be remembered for?
Just being somebody that could be counted on. That’s the thing that you always want, or I always strive for.
What’s on your bucket list?
I want to go and travel to see Greece, the Mediterranean and everything those areas where civilization started, and just see all the architecture that goes on there.

Growing up, I watched my mom start up her own business for Party Rentals, so she has expanded that to the point where she has her own catering she does like other services as well with that. So she really inspired me to make my own businesses, and now I have two, and I am planning to expand on those two businesses.

Immediately right here right now Ms. Revelli. She is amazing. This whole team. Dr. lee does the lesson plans, Ms. Revelli gets the lessons done. We work so well as a team so that instead of everyone repeating everything, we just work on it together. I’m also thankful for my Sunday school class. When I left New Orleans, I left so many friends and family members there. My Sunday school class stepped in and every Sunday I feel like I’m going to a family reunion.
What advice would you give to someone pursuing a career similar to yours?
You don’t do it for the money. It’s a good steady job. It’s a 9 to 5 job. There’s always a lot of work but it’s a very fulfilling job you just have to know what you’re getting yourself into. No matter how hard you work or what you do there’s always someone who’s not happy about it and you just have to do your best and get over it.

Being compassionate, caring beyond just what their grades are.

How would other people describe you?
In high school, I was very studious. I did my job, I did my schoolwork, but then I was also a theater kid, so I was a little bit crazy, a little bit silly and goofy. And now as an adult, I’m totally not any of those things. I’m very right, straight laced, mean, and tough. But as a kid, I was just wild and crazy and fun.

I’m like this at my church. I’m like this at school. Like, it’s just, I’m always like this, and I think people are surprised to find out that, like, if there’s music playing in the grocery store, I’m dancing to the music in the grocery store. And you know my husband is holding his hand and letting me do the twirl, because he won’t dance with me, but he’ll let me be the goofy, weird person that I am. So you see me out and about, just know that I am always like this.
