As an athlete, I’d probably say hardworking, energetic, a little bit annoying, but I love to put in the work whenever people see you and don’t see.

I started playing whenever I saw back in 2017, I saw a magazine that said the Houston Astros won the world series. I was interested in it, I gave it a shot and I’ve loved the sport ever since.

I believe I’ve grown a lot with discipline. I’ve ignored some pain, I’ve ignored complaining. I don’t complain as much, I don’t question what coaches say, I just do it. If they tell me to do it, they have a reason for it and I do it.

I’m thankful for my mom because my mom and dad because they’re the ones who said persuade something that you love, persuade something that you would enjoy in life and they persuaded me to not quit baseball for a few times and persuaded me to keep on pushing forward through a lot of things and i’d really like to thank them for that.
What is going through your mind as you’re deep in the middle of the game?
I’m the best out there, It’s just me. Nothing matters, not the cheering, not the players giving me motivation. It’s just me, the ball, and the catcher, the next pitch, the next play, this inning. I clear my mind then rejoin into that moment.
What advice would you give to people that may want to play your sport?
I’d say there is going to be a lot of failure. You’re going to get discouraged, but don’t let the discouragement tell you that you’re not good enough. Use it to prove yourself and others wrong and push yourself forward and you may surprise yourself.
