PRIVILEGE. She just wanted to enjoy the activity seniors have. “ I respected senior privilege pretty much all the other years of high school, and I was waiting so long for it to be like my opportunity to and it was a really fun activity to do, because I really like painting, and I like art, so all that together just really made me want to paint my parking spot”

Garcia was very happy that day not only because she got the chance to paint her parking spot about her favorite cartoon, Spongebob, but because her dad was with her. “ I enjoyed it a lot because I was able to do it with my dad and he's usually out of town very often, so being able to have a fun activity to do with him was, it was nice”

Blanks wanted to donate blood to prepare herself for what to expect her senior year, so she can earn her blood drive chord. “Me and my sister, we agreed to do it together,” Blanks said. “I know that blood is gonna go towards something like, it'll be used for something important, hopefully, can save a life or help somebody.”

RUN UP. The Caney Creek High School Varsity football team running out for their entrance against Montgomery High School on Friday, Sept. 6, 2024. The energy was high for the first home game of the new season and it started off good with the first quarter ending score being 7-7. Unfortunately it would be downhill from there, a gap between scores happened and kept widening, with the ending score of the game being a 33-58 loss.
