How would other people describe your high-school self?
A fun loving and focused student.
Was there a career you wanted to pursue OR pursued before teaching?
Wanted to become a pharmacist, I was a medic in the US Army. I was also a bouncer, warehouse worker, car salesman, tow truck driver, and mover.
Tell us about how you got into teaching.
Found out I enjoyed it through training troops when I was in the army.
What do you do outside of school for fun? Why?
Workout, play sports, hangout with my kids and wife.
When people get to know you, what are they most surprised to learn about you?
That I am always happy.
Tell us the story about what you are most proud of yourself for.
I would probably say graduating from college because at times, it seemed impossible. Making game-winning plays in different sports also.
Who is someone you are thankful for and why?
My wife, without her I would be a totally different person than I am now.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Keep doing what you’re doing, to stay on your path.
What do you hope to be remembered for?
Being helpful and Making people smile.
What’s on your bucket list?
Travelling anywhere in Asia.
