This years homecoming dance is right around the corner and our floral design teacher, Ms.Smith, and her 3rd through 7th period classes are preparing for the special occasion.

Home coming dance is a place where students show off their school spirt.Students are arranging their plans for the dance and many students are excited. Starting on September 10-26, Ms.Smith’s students will be selling homecoming mums between classes to learn  skills for marketing.

“Students learn how to market products, different selling strategies, and how to deliver the products,”  Ms.Smith said.

The mums are affordable and fashionable and have so many customization options. Prices for these start at $10 and vary depending on sizes.

Students who buy mums and garters at local stores will likely pay much more, but to save money, they can be purchased here at the Creek

Floral design students are wearing spirit badges on their backpacks, so you can recognize them, and will be giving out broachers to purchase their mum or garters. Or, if you don’t find anyone, you can go to room 3311 to purchase them as well.
