Each Friday, students creatively show their team spirit by dressing up in different attire and doing other, sometimes odd, acts. This is known as spirit day, and many people go all out to show support to their school.
This past Friday, the theme was “tourist day.” A variety of off-the-wall outfits and accessories were spotted including cameras, Hawaiian style shirts, several different hats and sun screen.
The Friday before this, August 29th, was “superhero day.” Multiple students were spotted sporting their favorite characters such as Superman, Batman, and Captain America.
Spirit days will continue throughout the football season and many more peculiar themes will be presented, giving students the opportunity to get a good laugh in and encourage the football team as they go out and play a good game.
