Students, teachers and parents gathered at Caney Creek last Thursday to discuss how the students are doing in the class.

“We discussed how the students are and made good connections,” said teacher Mrs. Van Vossen.

The event is a way for teachers and parents to finally meet and discuss the expectations of the year.

“Me and my daughter’s teacher talked about how she acts in class and what she needs to be doing,” said parent Shanna Lee.

Students enjoyed open house and getting the feedback from the teachers.

“It was fine. Very similar to all the others that I have been to,” said freshman Joshua Shebelbon.
