Movie theaters are some of the most popular weekend attractions among teenagers everywhere. With this in mind, here are a few movies that have recently been released to theaters.

“Gone Girl,” A dramatic thriller, is about a man who’s wife goes missing. After constantly being under immense pressure from the police and the media, suspicion rises and people start to question rather or not the man killed his own wife and attempted to cover it up with an array of lies. This movie features big stars including Ben Affleck, Neil Patrick Harris and Tyler Perry.

For thrill seekers and horror movie lovers, there is a new film that may be of interest. It’s entitled “Annabelle.” The movie is a prequel to the recently released hit movie, “The Conjuring.” The movie is about a rare doll and a series of horrific events that happen to a family who’s  in possession of the doll. Cast members include Alfre Woodard, Eric Ladin, and Tony Amendola.

Thirdly is the film “The Equalizer.” This action flick is about a man with advanced combat skills who comes out of retirement to help defend a girl who has been under control of a Russian gang. This film stars Denzel Washington, Chlöe Grace Moretz, and Marton Csokas.
