Students in fashion design are making baby blankets this week and next week in the sewing lab.

For some it shows a great opportunity to be higher educated in sewing.

“It shows that I am not the best at sewing and I need to work on it,” junior Kevin Bright said.

This was a fun experience for some students to make blankets for the first time.

“I liked it a lot because it will keep me warm this winter,” senior Stephanie Schwartz said.

Some of the students have been sewing for a long time.

“Since I was little I have been sewing for as long as I can remember,” junior Magda Gracian said.

The students will keep their blankets, which is a good idea for this upcoming winter.
