How would people describe you as a person?
They would say, I’m sweet. I’m funny. I’m hard-headed, confident and hardworking. I’m always on task, and I always like to put God in the center of things.
How come you want God to be the center of your life?
Because he just helped me. And over the years, there’s been things that have happened in my life, and he’s been there, I was turned to him, and he’s helped me become a better person.
What do you do outside of school for fun? Why?
For fun. I go to the gym, I run, I spend time with my family. It relieves my mind off of any stress, off of any things I’m thinking, and it relaxes me.
What Career would you like to pursue? Why?
Criminology, I like all those detective things. It catches my attention, I always like to watch those YouTube videos. I love them and it catches my attention.
When people get to know you, what are they most surprised to learn about you?
That I’m not actually mean. Everyone thinks I’m mean because I have a straight face. But once they get to know me, they’re like, oh my god, you’re so sweet.

Tell us the story about what you are most proud of yourself for.
I’m really proud of the person I’ve become from freshman year until now. I’ve changed in many ways. Especially because I put God into my life, and I’m not as harsh as I used to be. With God in my life, I’ve accomplished many more things. I’ve put all my focus into school. I have goals in life now that I want to accomplish.
Can you talk about those goals?
I want to make my family proud. I want to finish college. I want to get a good degree, and want to make good money. I also want to support my family. I want to make my siblings happy.
Who is someone you are thankful for and why?
God because he’s a big part of my life. Everyday I pray, morning, afternoon, night, throughout the day, and just going into the church feeling the Holy Spirit it’s amazing.
What advice would you give to others?
Seek God, he will change your life.
What do you hope to be remembered for?
A good person, someone that changed drastically in a good way, because God came into my life, and also as a smart person that really always tried to get her things done at school.
What’s on your bucket list?
To travel around the world. I want to go to a couple countries. Salvador, Honduras. I want to go to Brazil, Chile, Cuba, and Switzerland. Those places are beautiful.
