How would people describe you as a person?
I think people describe me as quiet but also loud. Hopefully, people describe me as nice and funny.
What do you do outside of school for fun? Why?
Outside of school, I like to go on bike rides. They are about 15 to 20 miles.
What career would you like to pursue? Why?
A career I would like to pursue is in law, specifically anything within law enforcement.
When people get to know you, what are they most surprised to learn about you?
They are surprised to learn that I play the trumpet. They say I look like a flute player, which I’m not.
What’s on your phone background? Tell us why you chose that.
It’s a picture of Houston because I ride my bike throughout the city. I have it to remind me of those rides.
Tell us the story about what you are most proud of yourself for.
I’m most proud of the time when my trumpet wasn’t working and I had to use someone else’s trumpet. I panicked because it was during the solo ensemble, but I ended up getting straight ones.
Who is someone you are thankful for and why?
I am thankful for my sixth-grade band teacher at my old middle school. She was tough on me, almost mean, but it taught me how to be better.
What advice would you give to others?
Stop procrastinating and actually get to work.
What do you hope to be remembered for?
I hope to be remembered not by my height but by who I am as a person, like how outgoing I am.
What’s on your bucket list?
Maybe to go to the middle of nowhere on an island and just be there by myself for a couple of days.
