How would other people describe you?
I don’t really know. Confident and funny I guess.
How and why did you start playing?
One day I was running in the soccer fields and then coach Banes found me and asked me to join the team. The next day I asked him where to meet him and he told me to just go to the track and I just started running from there.
Describe how you prepare before a game.
I get my sweats and my hoodie and then I just meet up with the coaches and help them set up the bus.
What do you think your reputation is as an athlete?
I don’t really think it’s that good. I feel like I need to get better.
What personal superstitions or traditions do you have before, during or after a game?
For a race I like to pray and ask god for help.
Tell us about your favorite memory as an athlete either on or off the field.
Last year we had a banquet and it was really fun. Everyone was there and then the seniors had to give speeches and it was really nice.
Tell us the story about what you are most proud of yourself for.
I think this was before district I ran 20 minutes which is not that good but it’s a PR for me.
Who is someone you are thankful for and why?
Coach Banes since he introduced me to the sport.
What advice would you give to people that may want to play your sport?
I think they should. It’s a really fun place and we make a lot of memories.
What’s on your bucket list?
I plan on making varsity and I hope to get recruited for college.
