On Sunday February 1, the highly anticipated Super Bowl will occur. Kick off is at 5:30 at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona.

Students are excited about the big game this Sunday.

“I am excited because that means the next season for the NFL is coming soon and I hope the Texans do well.” sophomore Dakotah Parker said.

Some of the students are rooting for the Seahawks to win.

“I am rooting for the Seahawks because they have a good defense and the quarterback has a higher QB rating than the Patriots.” sophomore Brent Patton said.

Despite the teams higher rating, some students and siding with the Patriots.

“I am rooting for the Patriots because I don’t want the Seahawks to win this Super Bowl like they did last year.” sophomore Garrick Perry said.

This Sunday most students will be watching the Super Bowl with either friends or family.

“I am going to watch the game with my friends and family.” senior Deon Ragston said.

Students can not wait for the Super Bowl. Make sure to tune in on Sunday at 5:30 on NBC and catch see who wins.
