This Friday and Saturday the Caney Creek Starlettes and dance classes will be putting on their Spring show at 7:00 in the auditorium. They will dance to songs from major Hollywood productions such as Hairspray and Jaws.

“[The dance I am in is] Footloose and Power of Love,” sophomore Madison Morris said.

Many of the dancers are practicing hard for their big night.

“I have been getting together with a couple of friends and practicing really hard the last few weeks,” junior Myriam Hernandez said.

For the seniors in dance this will be their last show performing in.

“Yes, [I will be sad] it has been a great 4 years on the Starlettes [team],” senior Emily McCarty said.

Many of the ladies have really high emotions about dancing tonight.

“I’m pretty confident, this is my third year so I’m not nervous,” junior Dalia Coffer said.

Some of the dances are getting deep and dark.

“We are evil dolls going after our lieutenants because they mistreated our family,”senior Vicenta Morua said.
