The best teacher around.
Tell us about how you got into teaching.
My grandmother, aunt, and cousin , I guess it runs in the family, motivated me to teach.
What do you do outside of school for fun? Why?
I do side jobs along with riding horses, roping, and breaking colts.
When people get to know you, what are they most surprised to learn about you?
I care for my students a lot more than what they actually think. I actually care for them, protect my students from any bullies.
Tell us the story about what you are most proud of yourself for.
Getting people that you wouldn’t think they’ll be a welder, be one of the best welders around.
Who is someone you are thankful for and why?
My mom is who I’m thankful for, she has supported me growing up and helped me stay motivated.
What advice would you give to someone pursuing a career similar to yours?
Think twice before doing it, it comes with some rough paths but if you stick to it stay consistent you’ll do just fine.
What do you hope to be remembered for?
Being able to be remembered as one of the best welding teachers and help my students succeed in life and help them be the best welders.
What’s on your bucket list?
To retire as soon as I can.
