The year is winding down and it is time for students to test their knowledge and become one step closer to graduating.

STAAR Testing is finally here and students are eager to pass the test and begin looking forward to the end of the school year.

“I’m ready to get this test over with and move on,” freshmen Colton Skero said.

To prepare for STAAR, many teachers have begun reviewing and going over all the material a student might see on the test.

“We started reviewing last week and it has helped me a lot,“ junior Damian Hem said.

For juniors this will be the last STAAR Test they have to take which, is quite a big relief.

“I’m glad this will be the last STAAR I have to take,” junior Gavin Ritch said.

After STAAR, students get a chance to relax after a whole year of hard work and time.

May 4 – Algebra 1
May 5 – US History
May 6 – Biology
