Getting nervous, it slows me down and I think too much during the race.
Tell us about your favorite memory as an athlete either on or off the field.
It was just a cross country practice but in the morning it was a little bit different. We usually run in the dark on the track but that day the coach turned on the lights and he only does that once every year. It was the hardest workout we did.
Tell us the story about what you are most proud of yourself for.
It was a race in my sophomore year and I was still in JV, and it was my hardest race yet it was a 2 mile run. I was so nervous but my teammate Tyler Zubik gave me a motivational talk and it helped me throughout the race and I ended up 25th out of 50 people.
Who is someone you are thankful for and why?
My mom had always supported me to run in cross country.
What advice would you give to people that may want to play your sport?
Don’t give up in the beginning even though it is difficult every day you improve yourself.

To hit under 5:30 in my mile time.
