How would other people describe you?
Fun, loud, and caring.
Was there a career you wanted to pursue OR pursued before teaching.
Cosmetologist because I love doing hair. I enjoy being able to speak with others and helping them to look better. I kind of stopped with it because of my family situation. I started having kids and it was very difficult for me to juggle both kids’ lives and work. At the same time when there were little babies.
What do you do outside of school for fun? Why?
Hanging out with the kids when I get home from work.
When people get to know you, what are they most surprised to learn about you?
How many kids I have because everybody says that it’s too many and to be honest, I wanted to have 10.
Tell us the story about what you are most proud of yourself for.
Finishing cosmetology and being able to pay for it myself.
Who is someone you are thankful for and why?
I think my kids to be honest because they always keep me going, and they made me work harder to achieve more goals in my life for them.
What advice would you give to someone pursuing a career similar to yours?
To always continue, never give up. There might be a lot of competition everywhere, but don’t forget that you’re that one person in the world that can be nobody like you.
What do you hope to be remembered for?
Always being helpful to everyone else.
What’s on your bucket list?
Jumping off a plane with a parachute.
