How would other people describe you?
Dedicated,hard working, knowledgeable.
Was there a career you wanted to pursue OR pursued before teaching.
Not really, I always wanted to be a coach.
Tell us about how you got into teaching.
Just talking to a friend of mine we decided it would be a pretty fun job to be a coach and went to school and became a teacher.
What do you do outside of school for fun? Why?
I have three kids so outside of school it’s whatever they are doing and bowling.
When people get to know you, what are they most surprised to learn about you?
That i’ve been married for 20 years.
Tell us the story about what you are most proud of yourself for.
Being the first person in my family to get a college degree,like my family was all blue collar workers like mechanics and stuff like that.
Who is someone you are thankful for and why?
My dad because he did whatever he could to make sure that I got what I needed to get through college and everything.
What advice would you give to someone pursuing a career similar to yours?
Times will be rough but once you get into it you will find kids that will make you want to come to school everyday.
What do you hope to be remembered for?
Being a caring loving person to my family and kids that I taught and coached.
What’s on your bucket list?
To go to every major league baseball stadium.
