How would other people describe you?
My teaching style is very engaging.
Was there a career you wanted to pursue OR pursued before teaching.
In college I got my business degree. I graduated in the great recession and couldn’t find a job so I went back to teaching as I saw how it could affect people.
Tell us about how you got into teaching.
When I started my air program I worked at AMI and liked helping others.
What do you do outside of school for fun? Why?
I garden so I can save money, build a chicken coop to save money, I also like working with my hands.
When people get to know you, what are they most surprised to learn about you?
The breadth of knowledge I have, I play music, I work on my cars.
Who is someone you are thankful for and why?
I’m most thankful for my parents that gave me my work ethic and my mom gave me my empathy to better connect with others.
What advice would you give to someone pursuing a career similar to yours?
Don’t try to be someone you are not.
What do you hope to be remembered for?
I hope to be remembered for the ability to impact anyone positively.
What’s on your bucket list?
I want to go to the capital of the world and rent a jeep and drive it on the mountains.
