Students, teachers and parents gathered at open house last Tuesday to discuss how the students have been progressing over the first few weeks.

      Many students enjoy open house and seeing their parents interact with their teachers.

     “Yes, I enjoyed open house because I really like my parents meeting my teachers,” freshman Julia Massey said.

     For some students they weren’t at all worried about their parents meeting their teachers.

     “I wasn’t that nervous, because I know how I am in class,” freshman Tori McVey said.

     Many students already had an idea of how they wanted the night to go.

     “It went completely as I predicted… good,” junior Philip Miles said.

     Even a few teachers were nervous at open house cause they really never know who they are going to meet.

     “Yes, I was nervous because it can be difficult sometimes to speak with other adults,” chemistry teacher Meghan VanVossen said.

     For parents, teachers and students this is one night a school year that the creek opens its doors for everyone to explore.
