Homecoming parade

This year’s “Through the Decades” Homecoming Parade is planned for Wednesday Oct. 1 at 6:30 p.m. The parade starts at the tennis courts, wraps around the back road of Moorhead Junior High, and ends at the Moorhead Junior High football field. There will be a yellow check-in tent within the Gate D parking-lot for participants. Food trucks and parking will be available for any students attending.

Sophomore Kaylyn McConnell said “After each point we should always hype each other up, because I have to have faith in my hitters to be confident, and hyping them up can help with that,” McConnell said “If one person is down, It brings everyone down.”

Nadia Iqbaluddin, News Editor, is a reporter on Caney Creek’s Student Media staff. She covers news relevant to both staff and the student body. This is her first year on staff, but she is also an athletic trainer and the volleyball manager. Alongside this, Nadia is in National Honor Society and National Science Honor Society. She is a hard-working student who has consistently taken challenging courses while remaining personable and energetic. Nadia has received the Best Work Ethic Award in Athletic Training. She aspires to become an environmental lawyer and work for the United Nations one day. In her free time, she enjoys video games, the outdoors, and helping others.
