Student World Affairs Council (SWAC)
The SWAC team met this week after school on Wednesday, Sept. 16 in Mr. Tanner’s room (#3409). There was also a World Cup event students got to experience on Thursday, Sept. 17.
Student Council
Members were expected to submit their Officer Election packets and teacher recommendation forms by Wednesday, Sept. 17, to Ms. Dudley in room 4305. Students were informed that elections will be held on Monday, Sept. 22.
Water Polo Bake Sale
The Aquatics Bake Sale was on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at the Natatorium during the Water Polo game against Conroe. There was a selection of delicious treats, including brownies, cookies, and cakes for customers to choose from.
National English Honor Society (NEHS)
The NEHS had their first official meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 17, in the LGI from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. During the meeting, students were informed about upcoming events and were able to pick their pen pal for the year.
Guess the Teacher Contest
In the English hallways, “Guess the Teacher” posters featuring staff members’ toddler photos. If you guessed 8 out of 12 correctly, you won a prize! Just submit your answers to any English teacher, and they’ll send you to Miss French’s room (#4208) if you get it right.
