The class of 2017 gave a whole new meaning to giving a scare. This past Saturday Caylee Page and many other juniors came up with a new event called, Fright Night. It was quite successful, raising two thousand dollars.
“[The money goes towards] the class of 2017, prom, and anything else we need help with towards graduation,” junior Caylee Page said.
The main attraction was the haunted hallways, many children and even students were frightened.
“It scared me, I had a panic attack in the middle of the hallway,” freshman Zoe Cason said.
One of the halls was a replica of an insane asylum, featuring bloody nurses, and of course insane patients.
“[I played a] bloody nurse, I loved it! I had a hard time being scary because that’s just not my personality,” junior Sara McClellan said.
Students and children that came to fright night could dress up in their halloween costumes. One student did so and he even got put into the hallways as a character.
“I played the joker, when I was bringing in waters for the actors, I was chosen to be in the halls because I looked terrifying,” sophomore Wyatt Langehennig said.
Shout out to all the actors who participated and Caylee Page for coming up with the idea. This was just the first event for juniors and the next is powderpuff, make sure you all make it to that one.
