Football Booster Club to host first movie night
Nov 15, 2019
The Caney Creek football booster club will host the first community movie night on Saturday, Nov. 16, in the cafeteria.
The movie being featured is, ‘The Lion King Live’. The cost for admission will be $5 or $3 for kids under the age of 12. There will be raffle prizes, treats, family fun & more. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the movie starts at 7 p.m.
The Booster Club Board members Jennifer LaBlue, Katie Mullin, Samantha Mouer, and Samantha Taylor came up with the idea to have a movie night as a football fundraiser at the end of football season.
“We wanted something the whole community could be involved in and something that was family friendly that had just came out and The Lion King Live was just released on DVD,” Mullin said.
Student Council will be selling street corn and NJROTC will be selling blankets and hoodies.
“The NJROTC Booster Club will be selling the same blankets that they sold at some of the football games and a couple cadets might show up to help,” NJROTC instructor Raleigh Stahl said. “The booster club bought the blankets and put the CCHS logo in the corner and they will be sold for $10. They will also be selling hoodies with the CCHS logo on it and I don’t know how much they will cost.”
