The Caney Creek floral department creates mums every year and sells them in the school cafeteria, making it easier to get a one for homecoming.
“It was a lot of fun because we were able to see what they wanted,” Sophomore Sarah Jones said.

Starting at $15, these mums can be made at any length. Students have been preparing for the mum sale for the past two weeks. The last day to buy a mum is on Friday 27.
“This year we didn’t pre-make any of the mums, they were all ordered. If the student wanted an eight foot mum, they could have it as long as they paid the whole price,” Floral Design teacher Jessica Smith said.
