Home Coming Pep Rally Rallies Students
Oct 11, 2013
Teachers and students went all out for the homecoming pep rally on Friday, Sept. 27.
“It really uplifted the school spirit,” senior Gabrielle Walford said.
After some technical difficulties with the music, the Starlettes were able to perform for the crowd, breaking up into groups and dancing in front of the four classes and their bleachers. The dancers were wearing red, black, gold, or white in honor of the spirit day theme, class color day.
Creek Squad was also present, putting on a performance featuring two representatives from each class. Stuck together in an extra large shirt, they had to retrieve balloons (in their respective colors) and place them into trash cans.
Perhaps the most shocking twist of the pep rally was the performance put on by the teachers. In a surprise move, teachers jumped into the middle of the court and danced to the wobble.
“The teachers wobbling was hilarious and unexpected,” Walford said.
