Every Wednesday the Creek’s Food Technology class makes and prepares tacos to sell to the student body. The tacos are made of sausage, egg, cheese and of course the flour tortilla. Food Tech sells the tacos as a fundraiser for the class.

“It is a day when we sell tacos to our classmates,” senior Taco Shack Manager Sergio Sandoval said. “We sell the tacos so that we don’t have to pay Food Tech lab fees.”

To successfully run the Taco Shack on Taco Wednesday students in Food Tech have specific jobs such as rolling, warming, foiling, cooking and delivering the tacos. Each student draws a card from the Food Tech bucket to see what job they must do.

“I for some reason always draw the warming card,” senior Morgan Mason said. “I have to warm the tacos the night before the tacos are delivered.”

So Creek don’t forget to order your tacos on Wednesday. To order tacos, ask your teacher nicely and call the Taco Shack at 92146.
