The photojournalism class is learning the basics and history of photography, like every other year. PhotoJ  students exclusively shoot and develop black and white film in the school’s black room which is a room with almost no light where photos and film are developed.

“I like that I can develop pictures,” sophomore Kaitlen Kennedy said, “its fun and I like how it comes out.”

The students will stay on track with traditional film photography until very late in the year where they learn how to use a digital camera and how to manage photos in the digital world.
