Student Council and FFA are currently partnered up in their “Fill the Pantry” food drive, to collect canned food and other non-perishable items for the CISD food pantry through Nov. 9-18, 2022. 

Items needed include: pasta, rice, beans, boxed meals, peanut butter, canned goods/soups, crackers, canned fruit, canned meat, ready to heat meals/pasta, etc.

Students can stop by rooms 3309, 4309 or 2202, to drop off any food items. For more information, go to Student Council Sponsor Tracy Underwood in room 4309, and FFA Sponsor Melissa Grissom in room 3309. 

The Communities in schools organization also has a list of mobile food banks for the month of November, offered to all students.
