The Caney Creek Drama Department presented Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Nights Dream. Many members of the senior class received a free 100 on a major grade to see the old English play as it ties in with the 12th grade English curriculum, with many alumni and teachers returning for a second time to see it.

The play was shown for the student body Dec. 13th & 14h, with a special showing for students from surrounding elementary schools. The Drama Department’s special showing for the elementary students has been a long standing tradition at the Creek.

The large cast created a dynamic and interesting approach to the production.

“It was really difficult to memorize lines in old Middle English but it was well worth it. Overall this was one of my favorite productions we’ve had.” said senior Tessa Ehrmann “I always love a challenge when it comes to acting and I’m so grateful for having this opportunity.”
