Texas Football recognizes athletic trainers

The athletic trainers received the Texas Football Training Staff Superstars Award from Dave Campbell’s Texas Football.

The publication teamed up with Texas Children’s Hospital to spotlight athletic training squads in the Houston and Austin areas.

“These talented and dedicated young folks are working hard behind the scenes to help their athletes to be their very best when the lights turn on,” according to the Texas Football website. “Each week we’ll focus on a different group of Student Training Superstars in what will be an annual tradition.”

Litzy Sanchez is a photographer for Student Media at Caney Creek high school. She also plays for the girls' soccer team and is involved in Key club. Other than Student Media, Litzy is part of FFA and has been a part of this program for three years. She has also been playing for the girls' soccer team for four years as a right wing, an attacking and defensive center mid. During soccer she has received the leadership award and she has been team captain.
