Movie theaters are among some of the most popular teen hangouts. New movies are constantly being released and shown. Some of the new movies that are to be released, or have recently come out include Godzilla, Oculus and Noah.

The movie Godzilla, which is set to be released on May 16, “retells the origin of Godzilla in contemporary times as a ‘terrifying force of nature’,” according to movieinsider.com. Some of the cast includes Aaron Johnson, Bryan Cranston, and Elizabeth Olsen. The movie is rated PG-13.

Since 1954, there has been a total of 29 Godzilla movies released; the original being by Toho & Company, a Japanese film company.

In the movie Oculus, tragedy strikes a family several years ago leaving two siblings charged for the brutal murder of their parents. After some research, they find that an antique mirror that had been present during the murder of their parents and had been owned by many other families and generations, have experienced similar tragic events. After finding out all this information and being in possession of the mirror, they soon begin to relive their horrific memories. The movie is currently in theaters everywhere and is rated R. Some of the actors in this thriller include Karen Gillan, Brenton Thwaites and Rory Cochrane.

“In a world ravaged by human sin, Noah is given a divine mission: to build an Ark to save creation from the coming flood,” Google said about director Darren Aronofsky’s latest rendition of Noah’s Ark.

In the new movie Noah, the prophet Noah is given the divine task of building an enormous boat to save much of creation—The Ark. The drama retells the well-known historical story of Noah that was recorded in the Bible with modern day technology and effects making this movie a must-see film of 2014. This movie stars many popular actors and actresses including Russell Crowe, Emma Watson and Jennifer Connelly.
