I interact with my team and honestly try to be calm so that way I don’t get tired, or I’ll listen to music and eat food.

That it isn’t just about scoring and highlights, there’s a lot of work that goes into being an athlete in general.

I always tell myself I’m going to play bad and that’s my way of motivating myself.
Tell us about your favorite memory as an athlete either on or off the field.
Our last practice last year, we got stuff done but we also were able to interact and have a team bonding moment as Coach Teich let us play basketball related games. I think it was a core moment for a lot of my team.
Tell us the story about what you are most proud of yourself for.
Even though my team only won 3 district games last year and none the year before, I still got personal awards in the district meeting, awards like second team all district and academic all district.
As an athlete, who is someone you are thankful for and why?
Coach Teich , she taught me how to be better on and off the court. She was and still is one of my good friends.
What advice would you give to your younger self when you began playing?
Be patient and don’t over think what everyone says because it made you better.
What’s on your sports bucket list?
To make first team all district either this year or next year and to maintain being a great leader to my team.
