How would other people describe you as an athlete?
Dedicated, and overall just trying to have a good time with whatever is going on.
How and why did you start playing?
I started playing just because it was there and I kept playing because I really enjoyed playing and being part of the team.
Describe how you prepare before a game/tournament.
Something that we do for the guys mainly is say a little prayer to get everyone’s hopes up and keep their motivations.
For people that have never play your sport, what do you think the average person gets wrong about it?
As soon as they hear swim or water polo they immediately think that it’s not good because of the speedos you would wear.
What personal superstitions or traditions do you have before, during or after a game?
The guys do a prayer and a tradition I came up with by writing “RAHH” on our biceps.
Tell us about your favorite memory as an athlete either on or off the field.
My favorite memory was making it to districts.
Tell us the story about what you are most proud of yourself for.
I am most proud of myself for getting into 3rd place in a swim meet.
As an athlete, who is someone you are thankful for and why?
I’m thankful for Coach Crampton, he helped me a lot throughout my time here.
What advice would you give to your younger self when you began playing?
My advice would be to always stretch before getting in the pool.
What’s on your sports bucket list?
I want to try hockey and maybe football.
