How would other people describe you as an athlete?
I feel like they would say I could do a lot of things if I picked up on it, like in basketball, I’ve been doing it for a minute.
How and why did you start playing?
I liked it ever since I saw it on TV and I felt like I needed to be up there one day so I just kept on going, seeing where it takes me.
Describe how you prepare before a game/tournament.
Sometimes I meditate, but other times I just listen to music and get some food to chill.
For people that have never play your sport, what do you think the average person gets wrong about it?
Most people think it’s easy and I feel like it is not as easy as they think it is, but if you start playing it, it does get easier with time.
What personal superstitions or traditions do you have before, during or after a game?
I don’t think I have any anymore, I used too but I stopped believing in that kind of stuff.
Tell us about your favorite memory as an athlete either on or off the field.
It was probably 8th grade, I had 25 points against them and it was probably my happiest moment in sports.
Tell us the story about what you are most proud of yourself for.
The time I scored 25 points.
As an athlete, who is someone you are thankful for and why?
I’m thankful for my parents and thankful for God because I wouldn’t be here without them.
What advice would you give to your younger self when you began playing?
Keep on going, make the right decisions, like training harder to be more successful for where I am right now.
What’s on your sports bucket list?
I’d say go to an out of state tournament far from Texas.
