How would other people describe you as a person?
I think people would describe me as direct, caring, and selfless.
What do you do outside of school for fun? Why?
I watch a lot of movies and I started crocheting too.
What career do you want to pursue? Why?
I want to be a physician assistant just because it really involves a lot of what I would like to do in the medical field so I think it would just be the perfect job for me.
When people get to know you, what are they most surprised to learn about you?
That I’m not that serious, like I can have fun. I’m nice you know, It’s just some people think I’m a little direct or serious.
What’s on your phone background? Tell us why you chose that.
My lock screen has a picture of two cows, and the my home screen is a Bible quote of Romans 8:26. I chose the cows just because I love cows and everything that’s ranch. The home screen is just because I really like that Bible quote because it says that God can hear your cries even when they’re too deep for words.
Tell us the story about what you are most proud of yourself for.
I think I’m most proud of how well I’m doing academically because freshman year I completely flunked and didn’t do anything, but this year I’ve really been good with all my classes and my time schedule with band and with other activities.
Who is someone you are thankful for and why?
I’m thankful for my mom and my sister. My mom because she supports me in a lot of things that I do and she’s like my best friend, I could tell her anything, and she rewards me for little things. I’m also thankful for my sister because she supports me a lot also and she keeps me going in terms of she wants me to be something big.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
I think I would just tell her to be more outgoing, to not compare yourself, and to stop being just to yourself, be with other people. Like if somebody invites you to go somewhere, go don’t stay home.
What do you hope to be remembered for?
I hope to be remembered for that person that’s just always there for you and that one classmate that people would say “Oh she was really nice.” I would like to be remembered as a good person overall.
What’s on your bucket list?
For this year I want to get into a good school, to pass my CCNA test for health theory, and for senior year to be involved in everything.
