How would other people describe your high-school self?
Pretty chill and funny.
Was there a career you wanted to pursue OR pursued before teaching?
I wanted to do college coaching.
Tell us about how you got into teaching.
I think that I do a good job with teaching high school students about life and basketball. I think it’s a good molding time.
What do you do outside of school for fun? Why?
I love playing golf outside of school for fun because it brings me peace.
When people get to know you, what are they most surprised to learn about you?
How sassy I am, my age, and how nice I am. I can also sing, and my hidden talent is I know all the state capitals.
Tell us the story about what you are most proud of yourself for.
Graduating college, I transferred many different times and I was ready to give up because there was a lot of diversity.
Who is someone you are thankful for and why?
My parents, they taught me good habits, and good work ethics to get me ready for life.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
To be patient, nothing worth having is going to come when you want it.
What do you hope to be remembered for?
I want to be remembered for being a good person and doing the right thing by people I’ve come across, whether that’s players or coaches .
What’s on your bucket list?
Play at Augusta golf course.
