How would other people describe your high-school self?
I was a good kid.
Was there a career you wanted to pursue OR pursued before teaching?
I wanted to be a photographer, but I ended up getting married and moved here.
Tell us about how you got into teaching.
I moved from Europe to here and I needed something that was off weekends so I chose to stay.
What do you do outside of school for fun? Why?
Not much, I’m old, but I used to garden.
What is your hidden talent?
Baking, this week I just made a red velvet cake.
What is something you know a weird amount about that isn’t related to something you teach?
I know a lot about knitting and crocheting.
Tell us the story about what you are most proud of yourself for.
When I had my kids, it was a wonderful thing and a great experience.
Who is someone you are thankful for and why?
My mom, she was special and she helped with everything.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
To achieve to be a great and loving person.
What do you hope to be remembered for?
My love.
What’s on your bucket list?
Move back to Europe.
What aspirations do you have for the future?
Go on a cruise.
