VOCALS. Junior Abby Cross sings “God Bless this child” by Billie Holiday at the Jazz band and Percussion concert on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024. Cross was the vocalist in some of the pieces that the band played. “My friend, he's a drummer in the Jazz band, he invited me like, ‘Hey, you should come sing for the jazz band,’ so I did,” Cross said. “It was very loud and everyone was just there to listen to jazz and the atmosphere was great.”

Litzy Sanchez is a photographer for Student Media at Caney Creek high school. She also plays for the girls' soccer team and is involved in Key club. Other than Student Media, Litzy is part of FFA and has been a part of this program for three years. She has also been playing for the girls' soccer team for four years as a right wing, an attacking and defensive center mid. During soccer she has received the leadership award and she has been team captain.
