COMPETE. Senior Morghen Vawter running at the Lake Creek track and field meet on Friday, Feb. 23, 2024. Vawter was running the sprint medley relay and placed fourth. “I broke our school record but could have done better and placed first instead,” Vawter said. “I could have been more competitive because I tried to strategize it, could have just ran my hardest instead of thinking.

Jorge Ventura is a website editors-in-chief for Caney Creek's Student Media, as well as a photographer. He has been on staff for 2 years now, previously being the mixed sports editor, he is also a Conroe ISD 2024-25 intern photographer. Ventura is in his senior year and plans to attend University of North Texas after graduating and pursue his goals of being the first in his family to earn a degree and being a professional sports photographer.

Margarita Rangel is Website editor-in-Chief and a photographer on Student Media. She has been on staff for three years now, apart from Student Media she's also a member of some honor societies. Secretary in NAHS, member of NHS, NTHS, StuCo, and Key Club. Rangel is also the Caney Creek intern for Conroe ISD sports photography.  Favorite colors that bring her joy are Cobalt blue and Seafoam green. Her favorite band is Three Days Grace and is in love with DPR Ian and LIVE. She loves Criminals Minds, Greys Anatomy and streaming thriller Documentaries, her favorite horror movies is Insidious the Last Key.  SHE ALSO VERY MUCH ENJOYS SPENDING HER TIME WITH LIZ AND NAT. (she also did everyone profiles so when you get the chance tell her good job even if she cant take the compliment..)
