Once a year the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, run by sponsor Mark Kovach, gathers to pray for the wellbeing of all Texas schools. “You get to see others who you see in the hallways on a daily basis and didn’t know you shared the same beliefs and connect with,” Williams said. “It creates comfort that you're not alone in the school and there’s others out there who wish to make the school and world a better place through their beliefs and not be afraid to do it.”

Abrahm Hernandez (12) was practicing for his upcoming drill meet on Sept.10, 2025. ROTC usually has drill practices weekly every Monday and Wednesday. Hernandez mentions that from joining ROTC involuntarily, now became something big from his life. “They had put me in ROTC because P.E was full but I ended up liking it and giving it a try,” Hernandez said. “In my opinion it's a very fun experience.”
