Ava Aldridge is the opinions editor and a reporter. This is her first year of being on student media, however she has been in UIL academics since last year; competing in Current Issues and Events. She has also been on the Speech and Debate team from the time she was a freshman. Other groups she is in includes NSHS and NEHS, and she holds the title of being an AP Ambassador. In the 2025 year of debate competitions she holds the title of runner up at UIL District, UIL Regional Champion , and placed 7th at state for her event; Lincoln Douglas debate. Furthermore, she went to Speech and Debate Nationals this year as well, competing with her teammates on a World Schools team.
