How would people describe you as a person?

I think they would describe me as joyful with an attitude but sometimes annoying because sometimes I can be a bit much, even for myself. 

When people get to know you for the first time, really get to know you, what are they surprised to learn? 

That I’m really aggressive, whenever I laugh, I hit you in a joyful way. 

What do you do outside of school for fun? Why?

I go to church because I love God. I find it fun because I get to interact with other people outside of school and with people that genuinely get the connection of me with God. 

What career would you like to pursue? Why?

Interior Design, I’ve always found joy in making something new and seeing people be happy with a renovation. 

What’s on your phone background? Tell us why you chose that. 

I have two things. In my lock screen I have my friends and in my home screen I have The Virgin Mary. I feel like my friends define me as a person. I feel like whenever I’m with my friends I get more comfortable than when I’m with some strangers. For example, whenever I’m with strangers I get really  anxious and start getting panic attacks. I don’t know, I just see those things as my safe place. 

Tell us the story about what you are most proud of yourself for. 

I am most proud of myself for getting better. For example my seventh and eight grade year was me getting suspended. In my eighth grade year I actually got expelled from junior high and I wasn’t allowed back. I feel like I have grown to be a good person. Well in my perspective I feel like I’ve definitely grown as a person and become better with myself.

Who is someone you are thankful for and why? 

 I’m thankful for Angel Alfaro because no matter what he was always there for me. Through the breakups. Through my whole high school journey, even with him already being a graduate. He was always there, including when we were just kids. He always reached out even if we didn’t text as much. 

What advice would you give to others? 

Definitely to be yourself and don’t do drugs. I feel like you being yourself is always really important. You being defined by others doesn’t mean that you’re supposed to be that way. 

What do you hope to be remembered for? 

I hope to be remembered for being such a joyful soul and being good at what I do. Never giving up. 

What’s on your bucket list? 

I actually don’t have anything on my bucket list right now. I just want to keep going. Keep living in the moment.
