Football

The football team had an away fixture against the Tomball Cougars this past Friday.

The Panthers lost the fixture to Tomball 19-41. Their record is now 0-2 in district and 1-4 overall.

The team will face off against the Magnolia West mustangs this Friday at Moorhead stadium starting at 7:30 Pm.

Volleyball

This week the Creek volleyball team played against the Lake Creek lions and the Kingwood Park panthers.

Tuesday they lost against Lake Creek high school 3-0 (19-25, 7-25, 21-25), and Friday against Kingwood Park (21-25, 12-25, 12-25). Their district record is now 0-11. 

The lady panthers will play Tuesday at home against Tomball high school starting at 6 p.m. They will also have an away fixture against New Caney high school starting at 6:30 p.m.

Swim Team

The Creek swimming team had their first meet this past Thursday against the Huntsville hornets.

The panthers finished in second place with 77 combined points. Standout performances include senior Blane Harris who placed 1st in the boys 50 yard freestyle and broke the school record with a time of 24.46 and junior McKenna Lee placed 1st in the girls 50 yard freestyle with a time of 33.65.

Cross Country

The boys cross country team ran at the Huffman invitational this past Saturday, while the girls team ran at the Nike south invitational later that same day.

Junior Thomas Crider led the boys team with a 2nd place finish with a time of 18:08. The boys finished 4th out of 10 teams.

The girls top runner was junior Montserrat Ramos finishing 17th out of 178 runners, her time was 21:20. The team placed 10th out of 22 teams.

The panther’s will run their district meet Thursday Oct 10th. The location is yet to be determined.
