SPORTS RECAP 10/31-11/4: Girls Basketball starts season

PRACTICE MAKES PERFECTION. Junior Isaac Hernandez practicing his free stroke before their practice swim meet on Oct, 25. 2022 against spring. This is Hernandez’s second year in swim and he wants to continue to grow stronger and better for himself.
“I was never really good at sports until I joined swimming. And I felt like the team is not only as a family but the sport in general is about competing against yourself and basically just getting better and better. Football

In the final home game of this season last Friday, varsity lost to Oak Ridge 49-0. The varsity football team took on New Caney on Thursday, losing the final game of the season 41-21. The final record of the season was 1-8.

Volleyball

Volleyball ended the season with a loss against New Caney going 3-0 (25-18, 25-19, 25-19). The final record of the season was 9-29.

Swim

This past Tuesday Swim hosted a meet against Conroe at the CISD Natatorium.

Girls Basketball

In the first scrimmages of the season Varsity won one of four scrimmages. In another scrimmage on Tuesday against MacArthur, Varsity lost their scrimmage 27-24, JV tied 13-13.The first game of the season will be on Friday against Davis in an away game.
